2009 Goals

Okay, I know I’m a bit late, but these are my goals for 2009. Note I said goals, not resolutions. Resolutions is a bit too ‘Win or Lose’ for me… if I don’t achieve it 100% I’ve failed, yunno?

Anyway, my goals for 2009 are:

Eat Healthier Food. That’s it. I’m not going to set myself a resolution of losing x numbers of pounds because frankly, I diet to the point of about a stone, fall of the wagon for a couple of weeks, and then give up entirely. I’ve been doing that for years and putting the weight straight back on and it clearly isn’t working. My new strategy is just to try and eat a lot more healthily and stop binging on junk (yes, I binge eat – I don’t seem to have that natural ‘stop’ mechanism that most people do). Either way, I desperately need to lose weight… I’m starting to really feel it affecting my health, and frankly, I want kids, and don’t feel that I would be able to at my current weight.

Craft More. Nice simple one that!

Pass My Driving Test. I think I can drive, my tutor tells me I can drive, yet I can’t seem to pass the test. I’ve been learning for FOUR YEARS now, and it’s getting rather frustrating.

Do the Washing Up More Frequently. I fully admit I detest washing up and leave it til I can’t possibly ignore it any longer and/or Chris has asked me to do it about 5 times. It’s lazy, and it’s unfair on him, and it needs fixing.

Get Back into Photography. I’ve hardly done any in a couple of years, which is silly. I need to find some inspiration, I think, get out there and take some photos. Or sell my camera… as at the moment it’s not really doing anything.

I’m going to put these in my sidebar as a constant reminder, and try and actually stick to some of them!
