I consider Photography to be one of my main hobbies alongside gardening – yet I’ve done next to none for the past 2 years (excluding ‘blogging style’ photos). My aim this year is to change that!

  1. Aah we are alike here too! I used to spend a great deal of time and money on photography but stopped when my good camera broke.
I’m now looking for a digital camera (I always borrow one to take pics now) but only have a budget of £150 or so. I have a very good Canon (non digital) inherited from my Dad that I will keep.
I want a digital camera that isn’t flimsy or tiny, I prefer the feeling of “working with something” than a push button dummy. Any suggestions?

  2. there’s some really nice fuji ‘pro-sumer’ cameras out there (thats shop talk for not a point and shoot, but not a full blown pro SLR). i had a quick look and this looks like a good choice

  3. oh, and i say that from some experience – I used to have one of the earlier cameras in that series, and I used to work in a Jessops shop so have played with lots of brands, although not the current models.

  4. Ooh thanks Sarah, that looks really good! Thank you!! I’m just about to start major major frugal living (just created a finance blog to get me going) and this is the last purchase I need before I start as I need it for work and my holiday this summer!
